This policy explains information handling on WattCostCalculator at https://wattcostcalculator.com. It distinguishes the site’s current functions from advertising features that have not yet been enabled.
Calculator inputs
The electricity calculator uses the watts, hours and unit rate you enter to calculate results in your browser. Its calculation code does not submit these values to a server. Do not enter account numbers or personal information into calculator fields.
Technical information and hosting
When a page is requested, the hosting service receives technical information such as the IP address, requested URL, browser information and request time. Server logs can be used to operate, secure and troubleshoot the site. IP addresses can be personal data; we do not describe them as inherently anonymous. The site is hosted through Hostinger; see Hostinger’s privacy policy for its information practices.
WordPress cookies and comments
WordPress uses cookies for signed-in users. If you leave a comment and choose to save your name, email and website, WordPress can store those details in browser cookies. Submitted comments and their form fields, IP address and browser information may be processed for publication, moderation and spam prevention. Comments and associated metadata can remain stored until removed. Do not include sensitive information in a public comment.
Advertising: Google AdSense
Google AdSense is not currently connected to this site as of the update date. If Google advertising is enabled, this policy and the site’s privacy controls will be updated to reflect the actual configuration.
When Google ads are served, Google and other third-party advertising vendors may place or read cookies and use web beacons, IP addresses or similar identifiers to deliver ads, measure performance and prevent fraud. Google’s advertising cookies can enable Google and its partners to serve personalized ads based on visits to this and other websites.
You can manage Google personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings. Information about some other vendors’ personalized advertising choices is available at YourAdChoices. See How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and Google advertising technologies. These links explain provider practices; they do not mean those services are currently active here.
Your choices and requests
You can manage or delete cookies using your browser settings. Blocking cookies can affect sign-in and saved preferences. Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights concerning access, correction, deletion or objections to processing. Any request must be assessed against the data actually held and applicable retention obligations.
Our dedicated contact mailbox is still being set up. Check the Contact Us page for current availability before sending a privacy request or personal information.
External links and changes
External websites have their own privacy practices. This policy will be revised when site services or data handling change. Merely visiting the site is not treated as consent to optional advertising cookies.
